Polysiloxane is a polymeric structure that contains repeating silicon-oxygen groups, which can be combined with other chemistries to achieve enhancements in performance over traditional coatings systems. These polysiloxane backbones are unaffected by atmospheric oxygen, sunlight and ultraviolet attack.

Therefore, the combination of PSX with acrylic prepolymer chemistry has resulted in PSX® 1001, the next generation in long lasting gloss retentive coatings, with unheard of performance for a one pack product.
