PSX 700 offers a longer service life than the traditional epoxy/aliphatic polyurethane system it replaces. But when combined with zinc primer (such as PPG Dimetcotes or Amercoat 68), the 2-coat system significantly outlasts the best 3-coat zinc, epoxy, polyurethane systems. Here are just a few of the performance benefits offered by PSX 700.

• Gloss and colour retention surpasses that offered by an aliphatic polyurethane. (See Figure 1)
  
• Corrosion and chemical resistances of PSX 700 based two-coat systems exceed those provided by traditional multi-coat systems.
  
• Adhesive strength of 190 kg/cm² (on steel, using ASTM D4541) is more than double the 35-70 kg/cm² offered by conventional epoxy coatings.
  
• Abrasion resistance greater than or equal to a flexible aliphatic polyurethane; far superior to an ordinary epoxy. (See table)
  
• Highly stain resistant; resistant to graffiti, stains and dirt accumulation.
